I just can't believe it has been almost a month since we got back from India. The whole trip kinda whizzed past so fast, it just feels like a dream. A wonderful dream with a whole bunch of memories, though. My Madras, (or atleast it still was, till I lived there) has changed for the worse. More people, so more cars, so more traffic and so more pollution. All that people talk about his "land". There is a land here, there is a land there. I understand there was/is a super dooper real estate boom in India, but it sure has driven our Indian brothers to a "land" obsession, if you will! Anyways it was good meeting friends and family. But the highlight of the whole trip was my G'pa who is 91 years old and my son Jay who is 1 year old met. It was a beautiful sight to see these 2 men born in 2 different worlds and generations hang out together. I think they both had fun. On Jay's birthday my G gave him a gold medal that he won for a Bible Quiz in 1938. That was pretty awesome. Now back to work, more in the next post.
