Look Who's Back!

So, I have been meaning to start writing for a long time now right and before I knew it, it has been a hundred and ninety days since my last post. Time sure does fly fast! Well lots have happened since, lots to be thankful for. Jay is growing up real fast and we are overwhelmed by the things he does or rather attempts to do. But it is quite fascinating to see both his naivety and his deviousness. I am sure there is so much more to come and I just can't wait. We finally became proud homeowners, although we ended up buying something more than what we needed! Jeeths & Sarah moved to Dubai! That is pretty cool! Cowboys lost in the second round of the play offs after a perfect 13-3 season! What a catastrophe that was! Then I got to meet up with my brothers from Hindustan after a long time, in Seattle! Although it was a short trip, it was totally worth it!

Well that's just a gist of what happened in the past months. Well I hope to write more frequently! Do keep checking!

Two Weeks!

Well Jay is 2 weeks old now! It has been a very interesting 2 weeks. Life has been quite different. Different...good though! And Jay has been good to us, thus far. He sleeps well, eats well and does everything well. So we are not like super sleep deprived. So thats a good thing. We took him to church yesterday! I know I know, it is too early, but I think its all good! He didnt like the darkness in church though..he likes the light! Not suprised being the son of "Lamps"... :)

A Series of Fortunate Events

Wow what a week this has been! Definitely not one that I had in mind. But a great one though. What a honor to see this little person come into this world. I have heard people say, it is the greatest thing. But I felt it for myself. Refreshing! Reforming!

Something else that blew my mind away! During her 2+ days of labor, D was in great pain and pressure, but never did she shed one drop of tear. Made me proud of her. But last night, I was sleeping in the guest room and she came running to me with tears in her eyes. Suprised, I get up to find out she just could'nt handle Jay crying and started to cry herself! Wow phenomenal! Instantly she had transformed to a MOTHER!
